In 1981, Pierre Charette founded Charette service d'Auto, offering roadside assistance, towing and automobile repair services. First located on Grande-Allée Street in Saint-Hubert, we quickly outpaced our competitors and, in 1992, we moved to J.A. Bombardier in the industrial park, ceasing our auto repair service to focus on roadside assistance, towing and machinery transport.
Fourteen years later, the company moved to a 40,000 m² lot on Payer Blvd., located in the same industrial district. The company erected a new state-of-the-art building that stands at 2,500 m².
Pierre Charette helped develop the training program provided by the Centre de formation en transport routier de Saint-Jérôme in partnership with the Association des professionnels du dépannage (association of tow-truck professionals of Québec).

A true leader in the field, Pierre Charette is vice-president of the Association des professionnels du dépannage du Québec (Association of tow-truck professionals of Quebec). He regularly takes part in issue tables to improve and advance industry practices and attends events to keep abreast of new equipment and the evolution of the industry.
Certified as an impound lot under the Highway Safety Code of Québec, today the company boasts 40, 000 m² of outdoor storage space and 2,500 m² of indoor space on a fenced lot with controlled access. Personnel remain on-site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The premises are secured by a network of cameras and a team of trained guard dogs. We can store up to 500 vehicles of all makes and models.
